Drenches

The WormBoss Drench Database allows you to search for drenches in a number of ways (see search menu to the left), including by drench group and active ingredients, allowing you to better plan your drench rotations.

The susceptible worms targeted by active ingredients are also listed; however drench resistance is now widespread in all regions. While general drench resistance notes are also provided you are recommended to conduct a DrenchTest each 2 to 3 years and DrenchCheck-Day10s in between.

Short-acting drenches are generally recommended, with long-acting products considered only under prolonged high worm-risk conditions. Using long-acting products may increase the rate of drench resistance development. Use these products judiciously so as to reduce selection for drench resistance.

Choosing and using drenches wisely is an important part of a sustainable and effective worm control program and with careful use you can slow down the development of drench resistance on your property. Click here to find out how.
