WormBoss worm control training

The WormBoss worm control workshop for sheep producers

The WormBoss worm control workshop is a small-group, activity-based 1-day workshop for sheep producers across Australia, to improve their ability to effectively control sheep worms.

WormBoss seminars and presentations for sheep producers

Where the 1-day WormBoss worm control workshop is unsuitable, shorter presentations or seminars can be arranged, ranging from short 20 minute overviews to more detailed seminars over a number of hours.

The length, scope and any costs should be negotiated directly with the professional you choose to deliver.

Making More From Sheep animal health presentations

Making More From Sheep has separate presentations on worms, flies and lice that have been developed by WormBoss, FlyBoss and LiceBoss. These are half day presentations, but can be shortened by your presenter to suit your event.

They are not delivered specifically by ParaBoss staff, so you should contact Making More From Sheep for more information on how to arrange a presentation or to become a presenter.

Training for Industry advisors, professionals, veterinarians, stock and station agents

WormBoss training seminar for agents, advisors, industry professionals

A half-day training seminar is targeted to veterinarians, sheep industry consultants, stock agents, drench resellers, stock inspectors/rangers, extension or technical staff, pharmaceutical company staff and other groups of professionals who are required to have a sound knowledge of worm control and who provide advice to sheep producers, be it related to worm control or drench purchases.

The training works through the strategies of an effective integrated worm control program and is generally tailored to a particular region suiting the participants. It is presented in 4 sessions each with discussion time, using the relevant regional WormBoss control  program as the text. An exercise is also done to ensure participants are able to confidently use the Drench Decision Guide.

The training is delivered by trained WormBoss industry professionals with the cost negotiated with the presenter.
